 Kornegay Land Development, Co. is owned and operated by Rob Kornegay, Jr. - 3rd generation KLD. He's got over 20 years combined experience in commercial and residential construction and is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified and OSHA 10 certified. Our KLD team has over 100 combined years of experience with every aspect of construction. We maintain a vast network of subcontractors that can do it all - from concrete foundations to framing to painting. 

 KLD was established in Wakulla County in 1969 and mainly focused on land development and commercial building projects. In 2000, the focus was shifted to commercial buildings and in 2013, residential exterior decks. In 2022, we became Florida certified residential contractors - CRC1333791. 

 At our sister company, KLD Decks & Design, we specialize in exterior decks. We design, draft with AutoCAD, permit and build the best exterior decks in Tallahassee. We aim for quality over quantity. We aren't the fastest, and we've usually got a long waiting list. However, we're worth the wait. We strive for perfection in everything that we do, and we'll make sure you are well taken care of. Also, we're OSHA 10 certified for safety.
